10 tips and tricks related to the Sandbox User Interface:

1) if you right click on the view point or click f3 you can access the wire frame mode
2) if you type in an entity name in the "by name" function, you can hide all other entity except for the entity you typed in
3) down the bottom you can change the speed of the view port by imputing different numbers into the speed button
4) if you press ctrl+G you can play the level
5) if you press go to position you can plug in a coordinate the the camera will move to that exact coordinate
6)if you double click on the console input you can get a list of all the commands that you can use
7) Anything you bring in to the editor, create, or put in the level is in the rollupbar
8) the group tab up the top allows you to group and dit objects together
9) in the tools tab you can reload scripts or terrain if something is not rendering properly, as well was this you can customize your editor
10) in the view tab at the top you can select all of the panels in the editor in one bar if you have forgotten where they are located in the editor

5 things i learnt about the sandbox folder structure

5 things I learnt about the sandbox folder structure:

1) Cryengine 3 is separated into many different folders.
2) You must use the bin32 or bin64 folders to access the ".exe" files or game files
3) The game folder is where you find "pak" files for music, game data, animations, particles and various other objects that Cryengine 3 is made up of.
4) The Tools folder is where you find the plugins for maya, photoshop and 3dsmax, as well as crytoolsinstaller which allows you to install all the plugins easily.
5) The engine folder is where the shaders and the engine for the program are stored.
